June 27 is the Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Devotion to Mary under this title is propagated by the Redemptorists and is very popular in their churches and among various ethnic groups. The icon was entrusted to them by Pope Pius IX and is enshrined in their Church of St. Alphonsus Ligouri in Rome in 1866.
