Remember the FMU in your will

In years to come, Who will receive Your Kindness?

When you are no longer on earth, will the material things you leave behind-your property, investments, and other assets-contribute to the comfort and security of those whom you love?
Will the agents of your charity, such as the Franciscan Missionary Union, receive a final testimony of your love and concern for others?
Or, by not making a will, will you choose to let the government and the courts decide what should be done with your possessions? And in all probability will cause your heirs worry, delay and financial hardship? With nothing given to religious or charitable causes?
Sadly, more than half of all adult Americans die without making wills.
Your will is your way of giving to the future, your way of helping to make sure that the things you care about, the gardens of your concern, continue to thrive.

A Bequest for the Franciscan Missions

When you are making a will, or if you consider adding to an existing will, we hope you make a bequest to the Franciscan Missionary Union.
We have suggested the language for such a bequest, below-you should check this language with a lawyer, however, because state laws concerning wills vary.
A bequest from you to the Franciscan Missionary Union is a wonderful way to insure that our missionary friars can continue the worldwide Franciscan ministry of love and charity, helping families survive and thrive, building new hope everywhere, and above all, keeping your faith alive and growing in the world.
