Between the seventh and the ninth of September 2009 a meeting was held at Largs, Scotland for the Secretaries for Missionary Evangelization of the English Speaking Conference. The meeting was hosted by Fr. Edmund Highton OFM of the English Province.

We stayed at the Benedictine Monastery of Eucharistic Adoration. Present at the meeting were Frs. George Bugeja - Malta, Ulic Troy - Ireland, Gilles Bourdeau - Quebec, Thomas Cole - Holy Name, Joe Rogenski - Sacred Heart, Bruce J. Michalek - Our Lady of Guadalupe and Edmund Highton - England taking the photo.

Apart from the usual discussions on the agenda we had a guest speaker Rev. Andrew Anderson of Church of Scotland who introduced us and updated us on the Edinburgh Mission 2010.  Edinburgh 2010 is a multi-denominational and international project set up to commemorate the 1910 World Missionary Conference, and to provide new perspectives on mission for the 21st century. A discussion was also held on the General Chapter 2009 Report concerning Evangelization.
